Tails of Hope was founded in 2005 inspired by the millions of feral cats and dogs that will never know shelter and love.

​

Tails of Hope is a 501(c)3 sanctuary for feral and non-social/non-adoptable cats offering lifelong refuge from the struggles and ruthless life of being homeless, feral or non-social. It is also our goal to create awareness, educate and inspire others to lend a helping hand in their corner of the world. For most cats falling under the definition feral there are no options other than being homeless or euthanized, it is our mission to offer another option for these innocent creatures - the option of life. We hope others will help in our efforts, and those like us, working to help feral and non-social cats live better lives and to be understood. These cats are no less worthy of love and compassion or of aid and refuge than domestic and social cats. It is our goal to help others see as we do - though feral they also deserve a chance at life, to experience compassion and love, to be offered aid and shelter from the struggle to survive and it should be delivered with understanding and through acceptance.
